This course is aimed at candidates with relevant plumbing/heating work experience who have already completed the HETAS Dry Appliance Installer Course. Successful completion of this course leads to certification that can be used for registration on the competent persons scheme for installation of wet appliances.

The HETAS Wet Appliance Installer Course is suitable for plumbing and heating installers who have already successfully completed the HETAS Dry Appliance Installer Course(time limited). The course is important for the safe and effective installation of solid fuel wet appliances. The course discusses advancements in technology, including integration with other types of wet heating. Successful completion of the HETAS Wet Appliance Installer Course allows HETAS registrants to extend their scope of registration with HETAS on the competent persons registration scheme.

Pre-requisites:

• Compulsory: HETAS H003 Dry Appliance Installer Course, PLUS
• evidence of Gas Safe Registration: CCN1 and CEN1
• or, evidence of OFTEC 101 or 102
• or, evidence of formal qualifications: City and Guilds 6129/6035 and 6089, or QCF 6189
• or, evidence of equivalent work experience on wet heating systems
